The Vehbi Koç Foundation, Turkey’s first private foundation, gives an annual award to acclaimed names who have improved our quality of life in the fields of culture, education and health. We took the responsibility of creating the strategy for this prestigious award in 2014.
The Vehbi Koç Award has such prestige and influence that it's also known as "Turkey's Nobel Prize." When we started working to promote the award for the group in 2014, we first developed the campaign’s communication strategy.
Using the strength of the positive values represented and promoted by the Vehbi Koç Award, we decided the best way to promote its mission would be to remember the award’s previous winners. Remembering the great names that have won the award reiterated the vision as they truly embodied its values.
The social media campaign we designed promoted the date of the award ceremony itself, while also creating a buzz around who might win it. Known for her work which combines architecture and history, Prof. Dr. Zeynep Çelik received the 13th Vehbi Koç Award. We used section drawings by Prof. Dr. Zeynep Çelik, a lecturer at the New Jersey Institute of Technology's Faculty of Architecture and Design, in the design of our campaign in order to honor her achievement.
