The history of Koç Group has been written and rewritten many times, but never drawn up like this!
For Koç Holding's 90th anniversary film, we focused on the dreams of the people who wrote history themselves rather than dry facts and numerical data. All the dreams of Koç Group's entire family members, especially Vehbi Koç himself, as well as employees and consumers, are present in this film.
This film doesn't just portray an organization or conglomerate, but the dreams of Turkey and all the difficulties faced by the country in the last hundred years. We were inspired by stories of hardworking people who rose up and challenged everything during a period where loss and giving up were the norm.
This story began showing how an idea, a dream, a sketch can turn into a reality over time. At the Senior Executives Meeting, we saw this unique story narrated by the fantastic presentation of Halit Ergenç. In fact, it's a story wherein we even have a role to play!
In the film "Çizgilerle 90 Yıl" (90 Years in Sketches), in addition to Koç Group’s incredible story, there's a real lesson for all of us: If you work toward the right values, make sure you don't leave your dreams behind because maybe one day a film like this will be made about you.
