Koç Holding, with its history spanning nearly 100 years and countless events, is sharing its expertise in event design with the business world. The "Corporate Event Guide" is a first in the field of events, serving as both a resource book and a practical user manual.
Events are one of the most important elements of a company's outward-facing image and reputation management. From design to production, sales to distribution, customer relations to communication, we are living in an era where established perspectives are changing in nearly every field, and event management is certainly no exception. Sustainability, efficient resource use, and environmental sensitivity are now at the top of the list of expectations for events.
Koç Holding, which has always been a role model in reputation management in Turkey and has pioneered many sectors, including the event industry, has opened its wealth of experience in event management to the entire business world with a guidebook, especially in response to the changes and uncertainties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through intense collaboration over a year with the Corporate Events and Project Coordination of Koç Holding, we, as an agency, have tried to reflect our experience and insights in the field of events in the "Corporate Event Guide." Without hesitation, we updated and re-released the guide a year after its first publication.
The guide, prepared with years of accumulated knowledge, the experience of hundreds of event projects, the review of hundreds of articles, and contributions from our colleagues, consists of seven main sections: Sustainable Event Approach, Efficiency Perspective, Event Management: General Approach, Offline Event Management, Online and Hybrid Event Management, Event Management During the Pandemic, and the Evaluation Process. Additionally, as an annex, we have included a practical "Sustainable Event Checklist" of 73 items, created by referring to the United Nations Environment Programme's Sustainable Event Guide.
We hope this guide will be useful in designing events that are environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and sustainable.
