Announcing the opening of the Ford Otosan factory — one of the most significant investments of recent times — required more than just a press ad. Our goal was to craft a powerful statement that would reflect Koç Holding’s vision and its belief in the future of our country.
The opening of Ford Otosan’s Yeniköy Factory in Kocaeli was too major an event to be confined to the economy columns of newspapers. As the largest investment by the Koç Group in recent years, it was undoubtedly backed by dreams and ideals just as grand. The headline of the press ad we prepared for the occasion referenced the power of those dreams and the passions that keep those ideals alive.
With 10,000 employees and an annual production capacity of 415,000 vehicles, the Yeniköy Factory amazed everyone as the world’s sole production center for the new Ford Tourneo Courier and Ford Transit Courier models. It also became a symbol of Koç Holding’s confidence in Turkey’s future — a company that, since its founding, has contributed significantly to the country’s economic and social development.
