Koç Holding, the organizer of Turkey’s first dealer meeting in 1951, continues to lead by embracing the digital age for its network of 10,000 dealers. For the Koç Bayi website, we crafted a corporate identity that reflects Koç’s innovative mindset and the dynamic spirit of its dealership network.

Since the day it was founded, Koç Holding has pioneered countless firsts across many fields in Turkey—one of which is its leadership in dealership structures and networks. From traditional dealer meetings to the 'Meetings in Anatolia,' Koç Holding has succeeded in bringing together its dealers in many different formats over the years. Most recently, it launched the Koç Bayi website, a platform where all its dealers can come together as members. Naturally, this new platform—which would serve as a hub for news, information, training, and communication—also needed a fitting corporate identity.

To ensure that the Koç Bayi site had a corporate identity aligned with its spirit and mission, we teamed up with Ela Kutay, with whom we had previously created the brand identity for the Fink app. First and foremost, we wanted the design to reflect the inseparable bond between Koç Holding and its dealer network. The identity needed to remain close to the Koç brand while also introducing a fresh and innovative vibe.

Another important aspect for us was to ensure that the identity conveyed the platform’s vibrancy, collaborative spirit, and strong connection with its users. In our initial design phase, we landed on a grid-like visual element that suggests a systematic structure while also emphasizing diversity through its use of color.

We wanted Koç Holding’s signature red to dominate the color palette—but chose a slightly different shade to step just outside the usual, adding a sense of novelty. Instead of picking the additional colors randomly, we drew them from the brand palettes of various companies within the Koç Group. This rich color scheme is strongly reflected in both the emblem and the logotype, bringing a mosaic-like texture to the identity.

The Koç Bayi website highlights not only the strength of being a family but also embraces the diversity of colors and characters within that family. Just as Koç Holding has done for a century.
