As you're aware, there are strict promotional restrictions in the pharmaceutical industry... So, what can sales representatives do to grab doctors' attention during their visits? We have a slightly crazy and unconventional answer to that question: Tablet Films.
The reps at Nobel İlaç have only one primary way to promote their products and share medical literature: face-to-face meetings with doctors. It only took a good idea to turn these important encounters into a sales project—transforming them into opportunities that encourage repeat appointments and allow for the introduction of new products.
So, we gave the reps an extra tool: the “tablet film.” First, the reps uploaded the film to their tablets. Then, during their visits, they played it for doctors. To watch the next episode, doctors had to schedule a follow-up appointment!
We created a comedy series starring Feyyaz Yiğit and Aziz Kedi, both well-known for their unique style and strong fanbase.
There were just two simple rules for watching the tablet films: you had to be a doctor, and you had to book a repeat appointment with the rep. The suspense of the next episode made it hard to resist! We titled the series “Sick Man.” Feyyaz Yiğit plays four different characters throughout the series, which humorously addresses hypertension. He appears first as a healer, then a professor, followed by a pop star with high blood pressure, and finally a patient on the brink of death. Each episode subtly references the medication being promoted, creating a perfect segue for the rep’s pitch.
Due to regulations on pharmaceutical promotion, we can’t show the full “Sick Man” series here—but we can give you a peek behind the scenes to satisfy your curiosity.
