While shooting the image film for Setur Marinas, we also had the idea of creating a separate film for each marina in the back of our minds. These films needed to highlight the unique aspects of each marina, while also maintaining consistency in terms of Setur Marinas' brand values.
Setur Marinas' marina chain, which spans the Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean regions and even extends to Greece, consists of 10 marinas that differ from each other not only in their locations but also in their stories, features and even promises. For example, while Kalamış & Fenerbahçe marina was a city marina, Kaş marina stood out with its nature and lifestyle, Finike marina was differentiated with its “liveaboard” feature. Therefore, before setting out to create a movie for each marina, it was important to know what would be highlighted in that marina.
With this in mind, we took the views of marina managers, employees and customers and wrote a positioning statement for each marina, making sure that these sentences would highlight the marina's key differentiator:
Antalya marina: All shades of blue
Ayvalık marina: Connecting cultures
Çesme marina: Hidden heaven
Finike marina: Comfort zone
Kalamış & Fenerbahçe marina: Right in the heart of the city
Kaş marina: A lush world
Kuşadası marina: Full of life
Marmaris marina: All you can sail
Mytilene marina: A sirene corner
Yalova marina: Smartly located
While editing the films and selecting the visuals, we used the positioning statements as our reference. In each film, we highlighted the features and services that set that particular marina apart. By using the same music and editing technique across all the films, we infused the spirit of the brand’s dynamic and innovative perspective into the series. As a result, we created a collection of films that, when watched individually, reflect each marina, and when viewed together, reveal the philosophy of Setur Marinas.
Having had the opportunity to visit and get to know each marina up close, we can confidently say: no matter which Setur Marina you go to, you will find something unique. And in every single one, you will encounter the exceptional service quality that defines Setur Marinas.
